so with the 980 ti coming out, I figured it makes sense to get one now, and I'll get a second one maybe in a years time. Out of curiosity, I checked the availability for the 780 ti, and everywhere I looked is pretty much sold out. So that got me thinking, is it wise to get a 980 ti now and bank on the expectation that I'll be able to find one in a years time, because all the hot places (evga, eBay, Amazon, newegg) seem to be pretty scarce of the 780 ti's

i had this problem with my 980s it took me ages to fins a second one ! and i bought reference which made it harder
