Ive just got back into Tera recently. MMO would be category I like most. But I'm open to others.

Try a moba like league of legends. i find it fun and its free. Theres no pay to win in the game, even the stuff that can boost your stats (runes) can only be bought with in game money which you cant buy.

it really depends on your play style. Do you want fast games? do you want a different perspective than over the top? Do you like something easy to learn (but a fuck time of time to master)? Do you like complicated, and lots of choices? Do you even want to try? These are important questions, and I don't want to just jump to... Oh DOTA IS DA BEST, or LEAGUES IS BETTER DAN DOTA LULLLL. So just answer the questions, and I'll give me best opinion on it.

Smite has the perspective chance which is an over the should 3rd person. League of Legends has a very intuitive Hud, and not fuck tons of items, but enough to keep up variety, and good variation between builds. I personally play LoL so I am heavily biased, since I have little to no experience in Dota 2, so i'm pretty much playing my opinions off of watching dota, and playing for a tad bit, and completely hating it. I have a few friends that love it, and play LOL still, so I guess I have some contrast between the two. IMO League is simpler, but has a smaller learning curve, While as Dota has huge item variety, and much more malleability on what can be done with a champion. I won't talk about communities, because honestly, it's pretty much based on your attitude of dealing with people, not how they deal with you.

IMO the easiest to get into, with a low learning curve, in the sense of a casual player....those Koreans though... I can't speak for. Dota has some mechanics that LoL doesn't seem like nothing, but you throw a LoL player into Dota, and they won't know what the crap they are doing wrong. (like counter creep attacking) 

 

Edit: If you want someone to play with you can add me "Rockruu" I'm a pretty casual player, High silver low gold ranking average. I don't mind teaching new players, Mobas are brutal if you reach a high level of casual playing while making new person mistakes. So I suggest getting a teacher or a friends or something or other.
