Im going to be playing Call Of Duty and CS GO on this and maybe some planet side 2. I wanna get 120FPS so when I upgrade my G2220HD (Backup monitor) to a S27A950D (Also giving my PB278Q away) so it can get its full potential. I am a silent freak and I'm not sure If I should get another 770 with a better cooler but this one it so sexy :D. Is this PSU good enough? I might also add a sound card in the future.

Im going to put another one of these coolers in my other computer and give it to my GF as a present. Having a WC rig takes to much time and effort so I'm building a air cooling rig.

Edit - Sorry I didnt finish my title, was going to be "Present for my GF so I'm going to upgrade my PC". Sorry for any confusion.

*Drool* Seems nice, but i would recommend liquid cooling since this is the Define.

This looks more like a completely new build rather than an upgrade.

Hell, whatever it is, it's still great!

Have you considered an all in one water cooler, they're at least as easy to deal with as air and often easier do to their less bulky nature.

Why a slower SSD and that GPU? Also I dont think a 500W PSU will work

I dont mind how big this cooler is. If I got something like a H100i for $120 I'd have to get silent fans like NF-F12s, So + $40. My cooler I'm getting is already quiet and will be $70 cheaper and have nearly the same performance

Messed up on the psu. Was going to add this instead: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/antec-power-supply-hcg620m

The ssd is marginally slower but much cheaper. You can't notice the difference.

The gpu has a better cooler and is much cheaper.

Remember the H100i has a HORRID coolant. Seeing that you live in Canada, get the Swiftech H220. Quiet, efficient, and well built.

Price is no problem so whatever has the best build quality is good enough for me

The difference is negligible. No need to spend more money than you need to.

Your system draws like 500W from the wall max under full load, even after a hefty overclock on the both the GPU and CPU. Also, Reason why hes recommending the MSI card over the EVGA one is cause, your spending alot more money for the exact same card, just a different cooler. So if that cooler is really worth the 80 dollar difference to you then go get it. Other than that, both use reference PCBs.

i saw the title then saw the parts then thought "dang...you must be dating one hecka girl if shes worth $1600!"

but i like the parts :D

personal preferance but i'd go with an asus mobo. they look cleaner :)

you can also get an AIO watercooler for the same price. im not sure how the Phantek would compare to an h110

also make the jump to 2x8g of ram.

This build is for me, Shes gonna have my other one. Shes worth it though :D Shes running a GTX 460 with some old intel CPU so she will need something better.

The Asus Z87 boards don't really go well with my color scheme (White and black). The UD3H was recommended from a friend and when I read reviews there is nothing bad with it especially for overclocking and gaming. When I first seen the board I thought Gigabyte was some no-name terrible company.

As for cooling this cooler is amazing for air cooling. It is also cheaper and more quiet compared to a H100i, H110, H220, Kraken X60 ect. The only thing im losing is about 5C but I don't think it matters that much and for gaming I wont really need anything above 8GB but could a 2 more dims in the future just in case.
