New Build Help

Hey guys, I'm looking at building a new PC. It will be used only for gaming nothing else. My budget is $1000 CAD and I'm sticking to the i5 4690k, and either the gtx 970 or a r9 290 GPU. Thanks

Best I could do for your budget with the things you wanted.

Downloading programs from CNet is not a good idea, as they will commonly include unwanted, and sometimes dangerous bloatware... The more you know.

He gave the budget in his main post. $1000

Monitors are probably a NO with his budget

For a $1000 budget you 99% of the cannot have an SSD, so just normal storage has to do

Always include an optical drive.

I totally miss the budget.

For me, I'd go with a 850 evo 250gb on sales so it's really depend the person goal.

and optical drive are really becoming obsolete
