Depends. Amazon, Newegg, and TigerDirect all have great deals on new/aging parts. Also, eBay has some awesome deals on used RAM. But don't let "used" scare you, as RAM failure is incredibly rare. I've seen 8GB 2400MHz kits on eBay go for as little as 50 bucks. RAM and an Intel CPU are the only things I would get used, since Intel doesn't have pins on the bottom of the chip, and RAM is rarely a failing part. Buy those 2 parts used, and save a lot of money that you can use on a fancy case or a nice CPU cooler or something.
