Dust Issues with the Corsair Carbide 300R

Crowes
Go to solution Solved by MourningSouls,

Pull the bezel off. Should have access to the filter then.

I don;t have any issues with any place, they're all fine, but I've found that my front intake isn't allowing anything past it due to the collection of dust. I would've thought it's as simple as "oh just blow air"; but I've either left it took long to do that, or otherwise. Anyway, I can't seem to get at the front instake's.. "grill"? There's no way to get it out or get at it due to a drive-cage being in front of it, and then a fan. I'm starting to get worried about my components overheating, and even got a BSOD today.

Anyone dealt with this before?

Ummmm what? The front face comes off which you can then easily remove the filter to clean.

Diagnosed/sorted. Cleared out by taking off the front panel.

I've also found out the issue with that BSOD. I bought a more powerful processor back in December of 2014 (ish), and it's being cooled by a Stock cooler. The air flow in my case on top of the only air that was managing to push out is what seems to have kept it going this long, although the build up of dust just allowed the Processor to overheat eventually.

80-90 degrees at full load is too much.

Looks like I'm going to have to cave and buy a third-party cooler. I've been looking at this so far, but any other suggestions would be welcome that fit this case and this processor.
