980 or 980 Ti

yuyupex2

Do i really need 980 ti?
Im going to play at a 1440p resolution
Or 980 is enough?
Because i want maxed out all setting but 980 cant (Gta V and Witcher 3 Hunt)
So it means 980 cant play better games in future
Ty for the answers

The 980 can max those games out for the most part even at 1440p.

However, if you can afford it go with the 980 Ti

A gtx 980 is 570-650$ depending on model you might as well but a 980 ti for a little more. Its like 50-70$ more for a huge increase and more vram.

980 prices are going to drop to 500. The more expensive 980's are meant for overclocking.

The Ti variant will be around the $650 price point.

Well they have not dropped i can tell you that so until they are the 980ti is a better buy if your already spending money on a 500-550$ gpu might as well go for high end.

A 980 will run it as long as you don't have a crappy processor.

The benchmarks for 980 vs 970 are very similar. I'd suggest going with either 970 or 98Ti.
