doesn't mean phenom ii x4 suck but fx 6300 is better or do like i did i found phenom ii x6 1100t black edition for 110$ i overclocked it to 4.6 GHZ and it rock's

Are you sure guys?  I could of sworn that even a 8350 fx is only just a little better than a phenom ii 965?  I would say which phenom? And then go with whichever is cheaper.  Oh and either way make sure to get a am3+ board.

Phenom ii x4 is so good because it has 4 REAL cores. And those cores are really strong, and overclockable also. Thats why that cpu was better than bulldozer back in the days. Now we have completelly different architecture with some magic modules and whatnot. 

So, you can compare phenoms(better) core with 6300 one, but its a fact that 6 cores if all are used will be better. than 4 real phenom cores.

There is even X6 (1100t)  absolute BEAST and you can compete(actually much better) with 6300. 6 Real cores.

My two cents. 

I dont know much performance regarding those cpus, but you get the idea now.

I am referring to piledriver.  I think bulldozer was getting beat by that chip.  

 

Also I thought all of the fx chips had the magic modules?  I never looked at the other choices =P
