Hello,

My brothers computer last night had a problem. First the mouse wasnt working and then he went to shift+tab to do something in task manager then his computer just froze. Last night i go to see if i could do anything to help i click the power button and it turns of then almost immediately it turns off. after that i tried to click and hold the power button then it started up like it should (The first time this happend it worked for a few minutes then it froze up and turned off) Then i try to do the same thing a few hours later the computer isnt showing any image on the monitor and before this the computer turns off and on by its self(after i click the power button untill i press and hold it) . My brother recently had to buy a new CPU since his old one stopped working.

SPECS:

 MOBO:MS-7613

 GPU : GTX 760 2gb EVGA

There are a few things you can do to see where the problem could be.

  • Try each RAM stick in each slot of the motherboard, to see if the RAM could be a problem or one of the RAM slots fails.
  • You can try to boot without the graphics card and connect the monitor directy to the rear I/O of the motherboard, to see if the GPU fails (which I don't think is the problem)
  • If you have a different PSU, try that. Maybe the CX600 is the problem.

Other than that I don't know what else you can do.
