Considering WASD Keyboard V2

Hey all,

I currently have a Corsair K70 with Cherry MX Red switches. This is my first mechanical keyboard and I took a bit of a gamble with the switches and after nearly a year of use I've found that Reds aren't for me. I find them way too light. I've used a friends keyboard with Blues and found that I much preferred them for typing, programming and even gaming (Except for games like Hotline Miami I guess  ) So I considered getting a new keyboard to change things up a bit.

I've been eyeing up a WASD V2 Keyboard for these past few days. I like the simplistic look and how you can customise it entirely. However, I'd miss the metal construction and the freaking awesome volume scroller on my current K70. How are WASD V2 keyboards exactly in terms of quality? I'm looking for a keyboard like this:

  • Simplistic look
  • Sturdy build (Not necessarily metallic)
  • Quality keycaps (Long lasting, print won't wear quickly)
  • Not overly "Blocky". I prefer a thinner, cleaner look to a board
  • Preferably removable cable (I wish to customise it)
  • has a Cherry MX Blue switch version
  • Full keyboard layout w/ Numpad (Preferably ISO)

Other little bonuses like volume scrollers or backlighting are cool but I can really live without. How do WASD V2 Keyboards hold up to these wishes? Are they any good? If not can you suggest any other mechanical keyboard that fit the criteria?

Thanks in advance guys!

They make really nice keyboards, if you want one with white backlighting, look at the Code series... Only issues are, it only comes in MX Clears (65g Browns), MX Greens (80g Blues), and the keys wear off... This seems to be an issue with they're keys that support backlights.
