3570k Overlock Temps

That might be it.... now the hassle to remove the backplate

I am overclocking a 3570k and trying to keep a decent temperature but under full load prime95 small fft, the temperature gets to 89c with 24c ambient. The cpu is at 4Ghz with 1.176v on a h100i. I reapplied thermal paste 4 times and still the same temperatures. I checked if the backplate is loose and it was on tight. I added pressure to the cpu block while it is doing a stress tested and it dropped 10 degrees(~75c). Did I attach the block wrong or is the unit not good?

The Hydro sreies have some finicky mounting. Make sure that the backplate is installed correctly and that it is tightened down good.
