I was wondering what kind of memory is used as internal storage in smartphones. I have an old xperia u that i have to use for a few weeks and it is really really unresponsive. I tried a few ROMs but after a few days of kinds smooth performance its bogs down again. I was wondering if the memory(it has only internal) is anything like the 3d nand flash or sth similar that could be the reason for the dismal performance after some years of usage which starts getting faulty after a particular number of writes. Coz i have written a lotta data on and off it time and again. If u could point me to an article, forum thread or explain it urself, it would be helpful in deciding if i can somehow use it for a couple more months or not.

Linus's voice was annoyingly hellish for atleast the first 50 videos that i watched
