I need a SSD.

Go to solution Solved by EcoBoost,

That has no sandforce. Good controller and decent cloning software.

Just because it's not SandForce does not mean that it's bad. They are not the only company making good SSD controllers, and Marvell has been really making a name for themselves out there. Honestly the Marvell 88SS9189 in the SP920 (same as in Crucial M550, but faster NAND) is just as good if not better then many mainstream SandForce controllers.

There's also the Radeon R7 SSD which I hear is pretty darn fast. http://www.amazon.com/AMD-Radeon-2-5-Inch-Toshiba-RADEON-R7SSD-240G/dp/B00MVIF70W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1432601375&sr=8-1&keywords=radeon+ssd

Where are you shopping/located? Budget?

Intel was my other choice, but they are so expensive. should I?

Should you?....

Go for the intel one? Idk, its up to you.

Go for the samsung one? I'd suggest it, the 850 evo SSDs are pretty damn reliable and fast.

I am pretty addicted to Intel. I looked at Linus review of the 730, but it sounded like Intel had a gun at Linus's head. but I do see Samsung being a great choice.

I thought I had some money... Oh wait... I spent it all ;(

Yeah. But they have some issues, yeah an OCZ controller, which has some warm up time for peak performance. Thanks!!

According to reviews, seems to be a solid performer :)
