Hey guys,

I have been thinking about setting up a private file server for file sharing within my family.

I have some requirements which are: budget orientated, easy to use & 1tb storage.

If you guys could let me know what build should be best and how to set it up I'll love you guys forever.(no homo, or is it?)

thnx guys

How many people would be using this server?

"It pays to keep an open mind, but not so open your brain falls out." - Carl Sagan.

"I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you" - Edward I. Koch

"I didn't die! I performed a tactical reset!" - Apollolol

24 fps for that "cinematic" feel

After a couple weeks of behavioral sciences at my school I can easily conclude my parents need to grow up.

Well i would use FReeNAS...take any old computer, throw some storage in it and install FreeNAS...super easy and free.
