APU With GPU

Go to solution Solved by WoodenMarker,

What is the cheapest APU that does?

There isn't one and there wouldn't be a point in doing so. A 270 already outperforms any hybrid cf.

I think the best GPU you can run in dual graphics with an apu is a 250 with the 7850k. This is a pretty bad idea though because it would be bad performance for the money. I, and many others, would suggest getting a G3258 and a 270 or similar card for a budget gaming pc. It would be a much greater value than any amd option. Let me know if you want a full parts list for that.

G3258 @ 4.5 | 8GB Team Vulcan RAM | 128GB Kingston V300 SSD (I didn't know what I was doing when I bought it) | MSI H81I Motherboard | Corsair H55 with Noctua NF-P12 | EVGA SSC GTX 960 4GB | OCZ 550W Fully Modular PSU with Noctua NF-A14 | Cooler Master Elite 130 (Soon to be something cool)

Exactly. A cheaper motherboard is also a benefit of this type of build because of the good $50 options that work good instead of the more expensive motherboards that, I think, you need for an amd cpu.

No, G3258 is much much worse than any APU. Sure it does nice 60fps highs, with shitty minimums and stuttering.

860K + GPU or i3 + GPU is the budget way to go.

AMD 860K @ 4.3GHz ; Kingston HyperX Fury 2400MHz ; Asus A88XM-Plus ; Sapphire R9 270X 2GB ; 600W Tacens Radix VII AG 80+Silver  ; Cooler Master TX3 Evo

Uhhh, I agree with you for the i3 being a good option but the g3258 works great for me... Maybe you had yours running on just one core?
