Witcher 3 black screen

I have an asus gtx 970 in default settings. The game just black screens randomly so I have to restart it. Tried it with league of legends and no black screen. I noticed that the fans is not spinning at all..

Is it the ASUS Strix? If the fans are not spining you should be fine as it is designed to have fans off until 60*C or something like that. Issue may be somewhere else.

More people are reporting this problem with the GTX 970 in combination with Witcher 3 so I guess it's an issue with the game. Don't worry too much just yet and wait for an update or someone who knows a temporary fix.
