Hi guys. So i recently built my rig about 5 months ago. I love my fractal design r4 case. Not to big, not too small.

Heres the question i got for you guys!!!

I am moving in 1 month to a dorm room for college...should I consider buying a smaller mobo and case or should my r4 be fine?

Current Build:

Fractal Design R4

Asus P8z77-V Pro

3570k

Hyper 212

1tb Black WD

256 Samsung 840

HX 850

GPU: Torn between the 760 vs 670 vs 770...eyeing the 760 though...

I'd leave it. Honestly what an extra 2 or 3 liters of space?, And you would need a smaller motherboard. AND your roommate would probably appreciate the silence optimization.

I think it doesn't really matter and it costs a lot of money buying that new motherboad and case, you could better spend that money on the GPU.

very true. I really need a gpu already.

The r4 isn't too big of a case do it'll be fine. My roommate had a full size tower in the dorm and we were in a triple and we found a way to make it work. It took some interesting desk and bed placing to coordinate it with the other two beds and desks hahaha

Get a 770 or 7950. The 7950 outperforms the 760 and can be found more or less the same price.
