PC restarting every 2 seconds

I just build my new pc for the first time. and after installing windows the pc suddenly shut down (keep in mind it was working fine for a couple of hours) and would restart every 2 seconds spinning the fans and showing a black screen. Everything in the build is brand new and I already tried to disconnect everything except the power. when I tested on the motherboard box it worked fine.

 

 

build specs:

intel-4690k

gigabyte GA-Z97X-SLI

Samsung ssd 850 evo 250gb

cooler master g550m (powersupply)

cooler master nepton 240m(water cooler)

and a kit of 8 gig crucial ballistix ram

it's all build in the h440 case from nzxt can someone help me?

did you test it on the motherboardbox after it started doint the restarts?

also does is not even start to boot? if so try resetting the cmos and maybe have a look at te post led readout (if you have one) and see at what point the pc restarts

You probably made an error when you connected the power to your case. Try changing how you placed the power plug of the case. That is probably the issue

I already cleared the cmos and it didn't help I didn't try to take the mobo out of the case and test it on the box again. the problem is if it is stuck in a repost loop how do I get it out of it( not familiar with it)

I already tried that and started it with a paper clip without any results I must ask people to not answer on this post anymore since I accidently posted it twice.

Try taking out the motherboard battery and resseting cmos

thx for the quote tip I just cleared the cmos with the clear cmos pins and tried to remove the battery it did respond to it but it's still stuck in a loop.

Maybe remove power and check that everything is plugged in correctly?

I already did the 24pin is on it's place the 8pin for the cpu is also I don't have a gpu yet and all the other cables are plugged in like they are supposed to. the pc started doing this after 3 windows crashes.

Try disassembling it completely then reassembling.

ok, and if that doesn't work try and boot without the boot drive connected

already tried it without the boot drive but i will test it on the box.

can't get it done yet but won't take long anymore, anyway i'm going to bed goodnight

did all the test and confirmed the problem lies with the mobo. i'm sending it back in 2 days to get it checked out and hopefully replaced.
