Fans running, no post

I have build my first gaming pc yesterday, but when i turn it on, the fans spin and lights up, and the gpu fans spin but i dont see anything on the screen, i have tryed with 3 different monitor's, and 3 different cable's, i have tryed to put my graphic card in another pci slot, but still nothing, i have tryed with 1 stick of ram, i have tryed clearing cmos?

And i have tryed withot the tp link and hard drive connected

And i have no usb power

Please help me

My spec's are

Msi r9 280

Amd fx 6300, stock cooler

Asus m5a97 LE R2.0

2*4 gb hyper x fury red

Cooler master b600 v2. 600w power supply

Wd digital caviar blue 1 tb.

Tp link 300mps wireless N pci exspress adapter

Corsair spec 02

I know i cant use the front usb, I meant to order the non LE version

did you plug the 8 pin cpu power cable from the psu? check all the power cables.

I would do this, gut her and lay it out on something no conductive.

But im worried about the gpu only being held by the pci slot

Might be a dead motherboard, happend to me and all the fans started but no post, test another motherboard and see if that works

Was the same here, had to send back the motherboard and then wait for 4 weeks before they sent a new one back so i think you should send it back to where you bought it.

take out the mobo first

 

test it on the box like this

But how do i update the bios???

To be honest, i dont know but i think you will need a suported CPU that dosent need an update or just go to a pc repairshop and they can do it for you.

It may be the bios needs to be updated for your processor to work. If you go to the asus site for your board look for a processor that can be used with the earliest bios (0208) and locate a processor to use temporary to boot the board with and update the bios to the latest version. This may resolve the issue if you know that the video card is good.

Yeah you might need to look into find a cpu to use to update, or you can just go with it to a repairshop and they will probably do it for you.

i'm sending  my motherboard back and getting the non LE version, to use front USB, so hopefully it will come with a newer bios version.

You might want to check asus website and see if if have a newer bios on it
