Will it be worth waiting for the 980ti? will it be more expensive then a 980?

 

I'm going to be buying my system around June 15th-ish

Not sure about your first Q, Expensive than a 980? That is a solid YES.

Worth it? Don't know its price or performance yet

 

More expensive? Of course, it will be a better card more akin to titan X performance

How do we answer this? the card is not announced, we have no idea how good it is.. maybe its twice as good, maybe its 10% faster.. maybe its twice as expensive, maybe its 20% more expensive

 

 

Wait until the card is released, tested and priced and then we can discuss if its worth it

Do you think we will ever see anything in between a 980 and 970? Or do Nvidea not do this like AMD does?

nah you won't. nvidia don't release mid season cards between releases. well not that ive been aware of.

if it were to exist it would be a 970ti but the 970 is just a cut down 980 so I'm not sure what they could do without a new architecture and that won't happen
