Integrated graphics disabled when running GPU ?

Yes IGPU get automatically disabled when it detects a dedicated GPU.

Hi I have just installed a new GTX 970 gigabyte wind force g1 gaming and I have no way of testing it or plugin my screen in to it currently as my 1440p screen is broke so have to use old hannspree 1600x900 (VGA) screen and wondering if the integrated graphics have been automatically disabled by installing the GPU as can not get any display on screen.

Specs:

GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 g1 gaming (stock)

MOB: MSI Z97S SLI Plus

CPU: i5 4670k (stock)

PSU: Corsair RM550

Case: Corsair 230t

SSD:Kingston 120gb v3 snow

HHD: 2tb WD Black 7200rpm

Cpu cooler: cooler master 12v liquid cooler

quick question, did you change the display port? where did you connect the port after installing the gpu?聽

You would need to boot into your BIOS and set the intergrated GPU to be your primary display adapter. It's the only way to enable the intergrated GPU.

Yes IGPU get automatically disabled when it detects a dedicated GPU.

If your primary display adapter in the BIOS is set to a PCI-E / PCI lane? Yes this is true. If your primary display adapter is integrated GPU? Then it will stay enabled.

I remember tinkering with Lucid Virtu MVP back in the day... neat little thing. The virtual VSYNC worked pretty decent tbh.
