Windows 7 Aero Theme Problems

I can, but i can't use it (if that makes sense). Like it opens, but it acts like its crashed even though its not

So last night, I was trying to use the Maverick theme on Win7 to change the appearance from windows to ubuntu. But when I got to the "Aero blur removal tool" (Removes the blur around the edges of windows), it f*cked up my windows. Now whenever I open up a windows (steam, file explorer, firefox) the window is blank. It is completely clear, just showing nothing but the border and the background behind the window. Any help is appreciated greatly to get me back to working order.

The tool does offer an undo function, the problem is that I can't get to the tool because the file explorer is impossible to explore. I'm thinking maybe if I did a linux recovery I could get the program to run and revert it

type cmd into start search

right click, run as admin

sfc /scannow

 

I forgot to mention this, but the start menu doesn't open either, so I can't open the start menu

can you get to taskmanager?

(ctrl+shift+esc)

pc specs: 4 function calculator / 8 digit lcd display / colored numeric and function buttons
