Planning a new build

I am trying to create a build for the first time and don't know much about building a computer. Currently I have this list (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/QmhWdC) but pretty sure it is really bad. I want to create a good performing and for the most part good looking build for under $900(lol, who doesn't). Any suggestions? Thank you.

USES:
General browsing

Maybe some gaming(Once in a while)

Maybe Photoshop once in a while

Just General use

If you're going to do anything graphically intensive (games, photoshop), get a graphics card.

I would step down to an i5-4690K and step down to a 500GB or less 850 EVO SSD and add a GTX 750Ti.

I would edit/give you a parts list but for some reason pc part picker hates me right now using it in US mode (Canada problems smh)

Hope this gets you in price range!

EDIT: If it is still not cheap enough, you don't really need 16GB of RAM for what you're doing (general use).

EDIT 2: Check out this site (http://www.logicalincrements.com/) and they have suggestions for various price points.

you wont need i7 for your needs unless you do tons of video editing

and you def need a decent GPU if you are playing games

if you are not into OC

you def wont need the Z87 or Z97 boards

even the i5 4460 + H97 will do the job

They are right. But it depends if you are interested at all in overclocking. If it peaks your interest, go with a processor with a K at the end and a Z series motherboard. If not, go with an H series motherboard and a processor without a K at the end (as recommended). I would recommend the i5-4690k if you want to overclock, or the i5-4460 or i5-4590 if you don't. Check out CPUboss or GPUboss as a quick and easy comparison tool.

Alright, Thank You. At the same time I do want to have something that I could easily upgrade in the future or have a little extra firepower just in case so I might go over what I need right now.

Do you think I would need something like an aftermarket cooler for what i'm looking for?
