Its overall good, overkill with the psu. But what are you planning to use it for? If its for gaming 8GB should be enough

EDIT: There was no PSU i read the H100i as 1200W corsair x( Do you really need these things? its overkill for gaming but i guess if you want to prepare for COD 10 and BF5, no problem

If it's for gaming drop the 1tb SSD down to 500gb and get a 1tb HDD for mass storage, use the saved money to get a GTX 980, eather get a i7-4790kmor i5-4690k and get like 1600 or 1866mhz 8x2 ram, ( to upgrade to 32 if needed) since you won't notice a difference between 4x4 and ect aLos you'll save money on getting a different mobo.

If that's the case, you should spend more of your money on the Graphics Card, instead of the CPU. A 970 won't cut it.

Well this is as close as I could get you to future proof with items available now within your budget.

With that said I would really wait until the 390x is out as I really believe it will be a real 4k performer.

For better future-proofness, then yes. The GPU gets outdated the most quickly.

You are right. 2 970's will wreck a 980. I would prefer a 2 R9 290X's with 8GB Vram, though.

Best thing you could get right here.

A AMD GPU and Intel CPU are 100% compatible, crossfire 8gb 290X's will beat 970 sli. The 8gb of vram is amazingly good for being future proof.

No an Intel CPU with AMD GPU has 0 effect on anything..

CF 290x 8GB crush 2 970's in anything over 1080p

on 1080p you probably won't see the difference both will max settings for gaming, for future upgrades the 970's will become outdated long before the 290x's will.
