Okay, I am leaning a bit of Java at school and I was wondering if LUA is similar. Is it OOP? What else is different? And how would I learn a programming language by my self? Like, at school the teacher helps you and out, but on your own? I tried once and gave up, I am ready to restart now that I know a bit of Java and Visual basic.

What do you mean use Roblox?

theres a program that you download with the roblox player (you use to play games) called roblox studio. If you know the game unturned he first made a game on roblox which was REALLY popular. roblox studio there are scripts AKA Lua scripting

Okay, but any actual documentation or tutorials you know of? Like I said, I never really learned a language by myself and don't know what I should be doing.

Sure it's against the code of conduct to point this out, but actually taking the time to type "lua" into google will answer at least one of those questions.

But, I mean, do you just learn by checking the commands, variables and etc. Like I said, I know it sounds stupid, but never learned a coding language by myself,I don't know how to go ahead with this.

There's a great Lua book to start with: Programming in Lua. It will take you through all the syntax bits and pieces that you need to fully understand and write Lua code.
