Hey!

I saw Linus's plasti dip video when it came out, and I've been thinking about it ever since. I got one of those sweet stealth XFX R9 280's, and I love it, except for the fact that it just kinda... blends in with the black motherboard. Pair that with the smoked window on my H440, and you simply can't see it at all.

So, I decided to grab a can of white plasti dip at the local hardware store and tear down the GPU.

I gave each black part about 5 coats of dip, and it turned out, I think, quite nice. The matte plastic got a kind of "orange peel" texture to it, which looks really cool!

Next step: Interior lighting.

I really like that mod.

Looks very slick, I assume you are happy with the way it turned out.

Yeah. If you look closely at the finished photos, you'll see some spots where the masking didn't come off cleanly, but it is impossible to see with the window on.
