I have a 4790k clocked at 4.5

gtx 980 in a 2 way sli

16 gb of ram at 2133

 

i currently have a corsair CX750M bronze power supply  but i keep getting he BSOD and games occasionally crash with a gfx error, so im curious as to know if i need at least a 850 watt or if its something else

No it's something your psu will be providing enough power to your gpu.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

BSOD and graphics error isn't something to do with PSU but rather Windows or drivers. If it was a PSU problem the system would just turn off without any error or BSOD.

I would try using only 1 card at a time to see if it's a broken card causing problems.

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.
