Have you already ordered it?

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

You can do so much better for $500

eh not really unless you buy used my build was $450 when i bought it and his is better its solid for only $500

if you want 2 cores yes you can OC it but now a lot of new games now wont even run on 2 core CPU's unless they have hyper threading

A lot,of people still use that processor. @NeatSquidYT for example. Ask him how his PC runs. (Don't know if it will tag him I am on mobile.)

and if you want to do stuff like live streaming or rendering videos you'll have a good time on that cpu

The OP wanted to game. I was just playing Crysis 3 maxed out (literally everything maxed out) on multiplayer with 15 other people and I was getting 70fps constant on my G3258.
