Good night and good luck, I'll check back in the morning.

You change your CPU from one company to another?

What are the settings for your drives in your BIOS? When changing motherboard they may be changed and will have to be what the old one was.

SATA is the interface. But it might be set to AHCI, rather than IDE. But is the CPU company the same? I.E. Still Intel or AMD?

Okay. Then most likely it's a setting in the BIOS.

So what can I do to fix this.

First confirm that is really what is happening.

At boot hit F8 a number of times, until you get to a list called "Advanced Boot Options"

2010-05-17_070306_Advanced_Boot_Options.

Then highlight "Disable automatic restart on system failure"

and hit enter.

Now what that did is if you're getting a Bugcheck a.k.a a BSOD

the system will not reboot.

it will allow you to at least read what the error is and wait for user input or in other words until you force

it to restart via the reset button.

Then post the details back here (if there are any) and we'll go from there.

Most likely, no.
