terrible compatiblity

think I found one of the only computers thats compatible with windows 8...but not 8.1

 

the samsung 500T (Samsung ATIV XE500T1C)

 

if anyone else has a chance to work on a 500t..don't bother trying to install 8.1 on it...it won't work with the audio.... (if you disable or remove the audio driver...then it will work)

 

samsungs too freaking lazy to update the bios on the damn thing

how? 8.1 is just an update, its the same thing as 8. Also i have installed windows 8.1 on loads of old computers and it always worked fine. Maybe you did something wrong

thats what I said to myself

theres no reason for it not to work....

but pretty much everyone with that 500t has the same problem.. (I discovered this after 3 days of trying to get it to work)

Looking at the time it takes for them to screw up android updates and turn them into touchwiss, this does not surprise me at all.
