My friend has an NZXT S340 and is planning to mount a Corsair H100i GTX on the front. Should he get 2 SP fans for push and 2 AF fans for pull? Or just get 4 SP fans for push and pull?

4 sp fans, also i wouldn't change them unless he has a problem with them, temps are decrease all that much, noise is the biggest reason to change fans. also vardars are very good sp fans.

Alright, thanks. I don't usually follow topics, as it creates a lot of notification spam.

You can't push/pull in the S340. There is not enough space because of the cable cover. If you can remove it you might be able to but you would be getting close to the motherboard and connections (24pin, sata, usb3)

aww  forgot about that cable cover. Yes, you can remove it but his GPU is freakin' huge. Can you at least do push with the cable cover?

Yeah you can do one set. I have a Raijintek Triton (32mm rad) in mine with fans in pull and the back of the fan just fits in front of the cover. The H100i GTX is 30mm thick apparently so it should be fine.

Make sure to get the high performance.

Corsair PE's are unnecessarily loud and not worth getting.

Why push/pull in the first place?

It doesn't make much of a difference for such a thin rad.

Good to know. I'll just tell him to stick with push.
