Here are the parts I have found so far

ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0, Socket-AM3+
AMD FX-6300 6-Core Processor
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 2GB PhysX CUDA
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 8GB CL9
Samsung SSD 840 PROSeries 128GB 2.5
XFX ProSeries Core Edition 650W PSU

I already have a case and hard drive.

This build will cost around 7700 nok (1200 usd), and I don't want to spend much more than that.

Is this a good build or are there something I should change?

All I recommend changing is the CPU. Look at the FX-8350 and FX-8320. As the future of games will be optimized for multi-threaded CPU, and 8 threads will be slightly more future proof. Looks like a pretty good build please do a build log.

Back from the dead....

Get the 840 (non pro) 120GB. The performance from the pro is negligible but the price difference is definitely there.

The psu is overkill. A decent 500-600w will be sufficient.

Get a cheaper mobo like the ASRock 990FX Extreme3 or the Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 and an aftermarket cooler instead of the expensive Sabertooth.

Depending on your case, the Noctua NH-D14 or H100i are both good choices.

If you don't plan for that high of an overclock, a Hyper 212 Evo and MSI 970A-G43 would do.

I would not get the reference Zotac GTX 670. I don't know why they have made it - it doesn't have a superior cooling. Try GTX 760 from ASUS, Gigabyte or MSI. 600W would be better.

CPU: Ryzen 7-3700x 4.4GHz, MB: ASUS PRIME B450M-AGPU: SAPPHIRE RX 590, RAM: 16GB Corsair 3200MHz, SSD: 480GB Kingston HDD: 2TB WD Green, CHASSIS: CoolerMaster HAF 912, PSU: CoolerMaster Thunder 700W, COOLERHyper 212 Black Edition

Get a 970 mobo since you're not going to be overclocking that far with the 8320 and Hyper 212 Evo.

The only reason I wanted that 670 is because it's on sale. The 770 is too expensive and the guy who is going to use the pc is not a heavy gamer, he just wants to play ROME 2 really :P

The only reason I got the motherboard was because it was on sale as well.

He already had the corsair 550w power supply and we were thinking of trying that out first, do you think that will work?

It should work just fine.
