Going on my 2nd Custom Water Cooled Build and i had a question pop up

 

I know a closed liquid cooler has much lower liquid coolant in it than a custom liquid cooled loop using a water based solution, i was just wondering what kind of liquid is found in a closed liquid coolers such as the H80i or the H110, and could that same liquid be used in a custom loop?

Anyway appreciate any imput as If i can get something better than Fluid XP+ EXT (Extreme Performance) Coolant - Phantom Black then I'll use that instead.

Usually it's distilled water with an antifreeze and biocide of sorts so it still has a high water content inside of it, but for a custom loop it doesn't need that stuff you can use any coolant that you like or one that matches your build nicely.
