This is one of those weird moments when the 960 is a better value than the 290.

How's this look instead?

The VS series isn't good.

I might actually have to change the PSU from the rosewill capstone, cause its out of stock and i cant find it anywhere in Estonia and there arent many actual decent pc part shops in our country.

It would help to link us to where you're shopping.

This looks like a solid build.  It wouldn't be my choice, especially the motherboard, but it does look like it should be a good system; especially for the price.

Isnt the gtx 960 alot worse than the r9 290 ?

I wouldn't say that, especially if we factor in power consumption and Direct X 12 support.  To make it more fair, we should compare the GTX 960 4GB version to the R9 290.  If I had to choose one, it would be the GTX 960 4GB version, which should be about the same price as the R9 290.

Yes, and you definitely want the 4GB version for GTA 5 as it's very vram demanding.

In my opinion, I would go with 16gbs of RAM.

Why's that? It would unnecessarily gimp the budget.

Just better for rendering, and multitasking on your PC.

Not if it gimps the rest of the system but carving out the budget--which it would do.

Ok. Thanks. But I partially agree, yet partially disagree about your opinion on 16 gigs vs. 8. 8 gigs of RAM vs. 16 gigs is starting to look more and more like 8 gigs vs 4 gigs.

That's an exaggeration at best.

4GB is not enough for multitasking with many games.

Very few games need more than 8GB.
