The 750K outperforms the A8-3870K in pretty much every way: http://cpuboss.com/cpus/AMD-Athlon-X4-750k-vs-AMD-A8-3870K

The 750K also performs like a 5600K without the graphics power.

Yes and no.  The results I saw though showed the 750K @ 4.5GHz was barely on bar with a G860.  Some cases it did beat it a little bit, but that overclock I would hope so.

 

 

This would be ideal IF he can deal with a different case.

Please don't bitch about the 750K, it's just an unlocked A10 5700 lol.

An apu build would never match a 7850. Just go with what I posted instead.
