it says my gpu wont fit in there but linus fit a titain x in their latest build log ( https://www.vessel.c...ideos/Gdb2u0UqC) so...... will it work?

Have you thought of this case?  It's even more compact (as in console size)

Granted, you would need one of these SFX 450W PSU or another SFX.

 

Compare the size of that 970 with that Titan X, it it's longer your not fine, if it's shorter, you will do well.

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The Silverstone case I mentioned, needs a SFX Power supply.  In my comment you can find one such PSU.

(Linus video on it)

one thing.... titain x is 3mm smaller than gtx 970 so....... given that information will it fit?

In regards to the case i'm helping you with, the GTX 970 will fit as the 980 reference fits.
