Razer Chimaera

So I have been having issues with finishing my setup with my razer chimaera where my mic line is playing my audio. This has nothing to do with stero mix as it is already disabled. I can't seem to get the mic line to only be sending my voice instead of my voice along with whatever background music or sound that i maybe listening to at the time. I have both 3.5 jacks plugged in correctly and even if i did flip them it still does the same thing. Im using the sound card on Asrock z87 extreme 3 and when i plug in a different headset there isnt a problem like this so Im not sure what i should do.

Wiring issue within the headset itself. Nothing you can do to fix it without voiding warranty.

So is that the only possibility that im stuck with a crappy wiring issue on the headset im pretty sure im passed the warranty and dont even believe I still have my receipt basically SOL ??

If you have warranty Just repair it.

if you've registered the product with Razer (through the Synapse software) you may be able submit for a warrenty through razer depending on how long you've had them. They will probably just send you a new one and ask you to send that one back.

I dont recall registering it and if i did im pass the year or what not of owning it since i lost it in my move... till now
