Hey all. I am purchasing the PB278Q ROG monitor soon and I am looking into getting 3D vision kit now all my local retailers are struggling to get any stock and are over due on orders since januarey 2015. Now on ebay amazon I have people asking for a rediculus amount for Version 2 kit. but on the other hand I can pick up the old Version 1 kit for around abouts £45 so I was wondering if I could purchase that for the emitter and buy version 2 glasses to use.?

I've done a bit a of 3D gaming my self and i liked it but I was using Passive 3D technology on an LG 3D cinema TV and my LG 3D monitors TRIDEF software and i've aways been curious to whether I should give the Active tech a chance i've tried it in my local retailer but they wouldnt show games only pictures so i didnt get the full feel for it as it seems like I can use these ones over the TV active shutter glasses which is why I have a passive tv for blurays, I was born with a lazy eye so the Active shutter glasses on Samsung and Sony and Panasonic tvs irritate my eyes because my stronger eye can detect the shutting effects so i get constant flicker but from what ive seen of the Nvidia ones I don't experince this so i am thinking on giving them a go.
