Ok. So I decided to get a new desktop after being stuck with a $280 laptop with a E2-1800 APU running at 1.7 Ghz with integrated graphics... sad, isn't it. Anyways, with that laptop, running Dota 2 was a pain. It gave me a lot of trouble and I was running Dota at 10 FPS. I spent a lot of research hours (probably like 72 hours worth) into this build and I hope you can give me suggestions that will help me improve this build even further.

PS. I have absolutely nothing for this desktop except for a mouse, headset, and keyboard, and an Ethernet (depends on where I am; That's why I need a Wi-Fi adapter).

Let me explain the parts. I am going for gaming. I want to run Battlefield, Arma, Crysis, etc; These kind of games. Anyways, I will not be doing any rendering, editing, or video recording, so I know that an i7 is not necessary. I want a GPU that will last me for the next 5 or more years. So the GTX 970 seems to be a price affordable option. The one thing I'm not sure about, is fans. The Corsair H100i comes with stock fans, so I am not sure if I need to replace the stock fans on the H100i with the SP120 fans. However, because I am getting the Phantom NZXT case, I don't know if it is necessary since the Phantom has 7 built in cooling fans. I am not sure how loud this PC is going to be, so an estimate would be nice. Anyways, if anyone can leave any suggestions or improvements in the comments section, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, hope you enjoy my ghillie suit picture :)

You could get a lower case. I would get 16gb of ram just at that budget it makes alot of sense to just have it when you WILL need it for that one dang game.

Just because you don't care, doesn't mean other others don't. Don't be a self-centered asshole. -Thank You a PSA from the people who do not say random shit on the internet.
