hypothetically speaking

Go to solution Solved by mrswagbhinav,

SATA Express in Raid 0

SATA III in Raid 0

M.2 SSD

I believe it would be 2 sata express RAID 0, 4 SATA 3 RAID 0, and then m.2 (but don't quote me on it)

Reasoning is that RAID 0 doesn't scale 100% just like SLI or XFIRE especially after you go past 2 or 3. Thats why Sata express > sata 3. But RAID 0 for 2 drives does help a lot so I think it would be faster than m.2.

wow can you tell me why?

SATA III is the best bc it is. SATA Express is express, it isn't a permanent solution, just for hooking it up to trouble shoot etc. And M.2 is mobile and not for speed.

24 fps for that "cinematic" feel

After a couple weeks of behavioral sciences at my school I can easily conclude my parents need to grow up.

Sata express is the new 12gb interface, so it's faster than sata 3... not sure what mrswag is talking about.

EDIT: Sata express officially supports up to 16gigabit or 2 gigaBYTEs per second drives. http://www.sata-io.org/sata-express

if we would add a PCI Express 3.0 X16 SSD to the list where will it be

SATA Express RAID 0 is fastest, followed by PCIe x16, then sata3 raid, and m.2
