Topic about h100i help

Go to solution Solved by Lord_Karango17,

okey thanks for awnser but how do i need to place it on top prefer with the fans on taking air or pulling air out ?

Depends where you put the radiator. If you connect it to the front of your case (not sure if the tube is long enough to do that), then it would be better to have it blowing in as an intake, but if you put it on the top, then it would be best to have the fans blow out, as it will follow the path that the warm air already wants to follow, which is up.

So i wanna buy h100i for i7 4790k , and i want to state a question do i need to place to more fans on the radiator or its good with those it has. Also how do i need to place it (on top )?

the fans that come with the h100i are already very good, and there are only small improvements of using 4 fans over 2, so bottom line, its fine as it comes...

i agree with push v pull has little to no difference in cooling but i would put the fans pulling through the radiator. it just makes it easier to clean dust (don't need to remove fans) i believe linus has a video about it.

pull is when the fans X is inside the case xD? like puling from outside?

Which side of the radiator you put the fans on is really just a preference thing (having fans on top also help you clean dust), like in my rig since I use awful looking noctua fans, i put them on top of the rad, so you cant see it, but yes, buying sp series fans (static pressure) will help as it is meant to be on a heatsink/ radiator.

They are fine, only real difference you'll see in changing the fans is how loud they are.
