Mionix Naos 8200 or Func MS-3

LazyToaster
Go to solution Solved by Warcony,

My choice would be the Naos because it fits my hand like a glove and the side buttons are in the perfect position for me. If there is any way you could try one of them out, that would be ideal.  the difference between the 5k and 8.2k is the sensor.  I didn't notice a difference trying them out, but if the price difference is small then might as well go for the 8.2k.

My favorite mice. Which one should I go for and why?

And why that one?

Neither is "better" it's a matter of preference.

Here are some things to think about:

-Need more buttons = Ms-3

-Larger hands and palming = Ms-3

-Smaller/Medium hands and palming = Naos

-Adjustable weight = Naos

-Running Windows 8 = Naos (func's software has many problems on 8)

-Strong grip when lifting off table = Naos

For my personal use a func ms3 would suit better just because I have big hands. If I would have smaller hands I would go for the naos all the way.

I have medium sized hands and I use something between a palm and claw grip. I use windows 7 ultimate and I'm getting the steelseries qck mouse pad .

So now that you know that, which one should I go for? The reason I like these mice is because I want a spot for each of my fingers and I'm torn between them.

One more question. IS the naos 8200 that much better than the naos 5000?

Thanks for the advice. I'm getting the Naos 8200. Either way I go I have to order the mouse from the US or UK since they don't sell in Slovenia.

Good choice, you'll enjoy it! :D Also when you get it, download the beta drivers because they are much better than the current version.
