I will be running games on 1080p ultra settings. Can this handle it? I might be upgrading soon to two monitors. Would it be possible to play on two monitors on high settings?

Hi,

WD Black is prety much waste of money get WD Blue 1TB instead or Seagate Barracuda 1TB.

Get this CPU cooler instead, it will perform a lot better while it is cheaper and more silent - https://azerty.nl/0-976-669160/be-quiet-dark-rock-3.html

You should be able to run most current games on Ultra at 1080p but you may turn AA down in some games if you want smooth 60FPS.

Also do you want to play on 2 monitors? Because that is really bad as you will have bezzels in the midle of screen!

Or do you mean playing on one monitor and having other things opened on the another? That wont hurt your performance.

Hey, thanks for your reply. I am changing the WD Black to WD Blue 1TB. I want to keep my cooler, as ( call me stupid ) I want my pc to look nice. If there is a better performing water cooler, that is lower price, I would love to know. I would also really want to play on 2 monitors. I will hopefully find a monitor with real thin bezels.

Those sleeved cables are useless on a non modular psu.

I aslo wouldn't get that monitor, I think it's overpriced and at that size you should go 1440p.

I do want to go 1440, but that would be over my budget. I want to have a real big screen where I can play games on high settings.

It doesent really matter how thin bezzels you will get because if you will play FPS games you will have the CROSSHAIR divided on 2 screens, so how will you aim? That will be really really difficult.

Also if you want go watercooling single rad just for looks then OK.

Eh, I guess your right. I will keep on 1 monitor. Would it also affect the game with 3 screens?

Yea, even on 2 screens it would be more demanding than single 1440p monitor and with 3 screens it will be a bit less demanding than 4k.

Also I made picture how it would look on 2 monitors vs 1.

If you want to have more horizontal space you could go 21:9.

Yes.

Something like this for example

yes it will, although with a 280x u might need to scale down to high on some of the more tasking settings, i suggest u get a cheaper i5, like a 4460 or 4590 and with the money u save buy an r9 290

280 is about a gtx 770 level and I can only play the recent games like GTA on highish to medium settings. I would get something more powerfull such as a 290x or a gtx 970.

dont worry about the 290's power consumption, people get all upset about it but it doesnt really amount to much extra to ur power bill. and yes the 290 will deff do the job, its a very powerful card. only slightly less powerful than the 290x

It does but you have a 750 Watt PSU. That's plenty for one 290x.

290x is 970 level.

Have a look at some benchmarks and try to figure out yourself if it is enough for you.

are you really gona do some sick overclocking?

cuz the cheapest haswell i5 is really the max you can possibly use for gaming... anything more is a waste of money

heres a build that will cost as much, but will be LIGHTYEARS better gaming xp:

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/jMnwnQ

for the money you wanted to throw away on that asus monitor you can get a 21:9, 75hz, IPS freesync monitor...., and dont waste money on mobo and cpu for NO BENEFIT and get a 290 (to have that freesync working)

its a UK partpicker list, but the eur price of the same parts should be the same price as your initial build

p.s (titan, 780, 780ti, 290, 290x, 970, 980 are ALL the same level cards... with gaming performance difference being sub 10% at max)

people will link you benchmarks of 13 vs 18 fps and claim 30% increase sometimes, without realizing that real world performance is a whole another story
