@Zain881 don't forget to follow your own topics.

No point in getting that mouse keyboard combo looks complete crap.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

Why you shouldn't trust Gpu or Cpu boss Click on this I dare you!

Heres a cheaper and better build in my opinion (assuming you wont overclock - and you shouldnt anyway, its a waste of money and time) :

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/rfMmjX

And you get a working freesync loop on a 21:9 IPS = lightyears better gaming enjoyment. And editing work is superb.

Thanks, I am not overclocking and I will look at this build in a bit more detail. I'm sorry but what is freesync loop?

Could you help by telling me if there are better GPUs than the Asus R9 290X?

Original Titan, 780, 290, 780ti, 970, 290x, 980   - in that order from worst to best, but these are all the same level cards anyway... performance difference between the worst and the best in real world gaming is 10% at best.

(freesync will work with 290 and 290x only)

The next tier up are the unreleased 980ti, 390, and the released titan x = all the same exact performance level or withing 5% within each other at max)

1080p Resolution and a bit of easy photoshop work and word processing.

I'm on my phone writing this right now so I can't make up a build for you at the moment, but I'll do it when I get home.

I do recommend you getting an i5 4690K and an MSI Lightning 290X (I love mine) knowing the information you gave me. That i5 kicks ass in games and the 290X wrecks at 1080p.

290x Lightning is £350 pounds on amazon but the MSI NVIDIA GTX 970 Gaming Twin Frozr is £272 pounds. would it be worth the money to buy the 290x?

Also please could you make up a build so I can see. Thanks.

I personally won't recommend any 970 over the Lightning 290X except for a few cases until vendors stop listing them as 4GB cards without making the buyer aware of the VRAM "issue".

It's really up to you. The 970 is a fine performer at the moment at 1080p (aka being able to max any game out basically, same with the 290X), I just prefer the 290X to the 970. Though if I absolutely can't fit that 290X in the budget (because damn, that's a lot more expensive over there) I'll go with a 970.

On another note, do you need the wifi adaptor, headset, etc. Any of those peripherals that you already have that you wouldn't need to purchase until a later date? Do you need a mid size case? Or can you go larger?

Also, do you know if you have an ac wifi connection? Or just a normal connection? Typically you'd know if your router was putting out an ac connection so if you don't know we'll assume not. :P

Edit: Oh, and do you plan on doing anything SLI/CF in the future? Needa know a good PSU wattage for ya.

I don't really need the WiFi card or the headphones. And I could go Larger but the problem is that I like the look of the H440 and I want a white case. I don't plan on doing anything SLI/CF in the future. Could you create a build please and show it so I have a better idea. I will also need a monitor or 2.

Additionally, my Dad is going to Hong Kong tomorrow so if you want I will tell him to buy a few components from there because he says that there are cheaper there.

Other than that they're both the same, and I really don't think you could go wrong with either. Your initial build was pretty good looking, I just changed the PSUs, storage components, and case to something I can vouch for personally (minus the 650W PSU, but seeing as it's EVGA I think it's a pretty trusty PSU). I kept a lot of what you had because it appears you're going for a black and white theme. :P

My Phanteks Enthoo Pro case is fantastic. I have zero complaints about it and it was really quite cheap for a full tower case. Good airflow and all that. Great value. If you have the space for it I'd definitely go with it. Just watch out if you buy the H440--I see on pcpartpicker that some of the GPUs (like the Lightning and G1 970) might have clearance issues with that case, so if you got that just make sure you get a GPU that fits.

I would suggesting swapping out the SSD for a cheaper one, such as an ARC, and getting a 980 if possible. Here a build I was planning on doing for a similar budget:

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor  (£266.49 @ Amazon UK)
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler  (£89.52 @ CCL Computers)
Motherboard: Asus MAXIMUS VII RANGER ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  (£131.98 @ Dabs)
Storage: OCZ ARC 100 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  (£67.99 @ Amazon UK)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 4GB Superclocked ACX 2.0 Video Card  (£455.98 @ Scan.co.uk)
Case: NZXT H440 (Black/Red) ATX Mid Tower Case  (£82.55 @ Ebuyer)
Power Supply: EVGA 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply  (£99.98 @ Novatech)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit)  (£76.74 @ Aria PC)
Other: iiyama ProLite T2451MTS (Purchased)
Other: iiyama ProLite B2480HS (Purchased)
Other: Western Digital My Passport ULTRA 2TB External HDD (Purchased)
Total: £1425.16
