phantom 820 build

last week i build a rig for a mate, and this are his specs:

 

case: nzxt phantom 820

mobo: gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H

cpu: intel i7 4770K

cpu cooler: Corsair H100i

ram: corsair vengeance pro series 2x8GB

gpu: Gigabyte GTX780 windforce

psu: ocz ZX 850Watt gold series.

hdd: wd caviar black 2TB

ssd: Samsung 840 pro 256GB

 

wifi adapter from asus.

 

the 820 is a great case too work with, it's just a bit expensive..

Phantom cases are so easy to build with, their great!  The 820 and 630 are the best IMO.

Phantom cases are so easy to build with, their great!  The 820 and 630 are the best IMO.

i don't know about the 630 but i think the reason the 820 is so easy to build in the the raw size of the thing :o it's huge.

Why not the 630?  It's an 'Ultra Tower' just like the 820 because it's larger than a Full Tower and has loads of room at the back for cable management.

Why not the 630?  It's an 'Ultra Tower' just like the 820 because it's larger than a Full Tower and has loads of room at the back for cable management.

i haven't seen a 630. sounds like an awesome case too build in :)

The 630 is wider than the 820, nearly the same depth and slightly less tall because it doesn't have the big stand.  They are very similar cases but the 630 doesn't have the built in lighting effects.

I really like my plain Jane Switch 810. Its a full tower that will fit pretty much any kind of build you want in it.
