Hi!

I am planning to buy a new computer.

Would be awesome if I could get some help with what parts I need/fits.

This is what I got.

- i7 860 @ 2.8GHz

Packard Bell ixtreme M5800 Motherboard (wont fit in the case?)

- HDD

The case I want for my build is Prodigy M.

Would like 16GB RAM, GPU that can run 3 screens(27"/29").

Wont be any real gaming,- BF4, COD, ARMA etc, only some light games like League of Legends.

Still want a good GPU tho.

Also want it to be quiet, with good cooling.

Would be cool to have a fan control instead of CDbay in front.

I got about 14-1500$ to spend.

It's a MicroATX board so yes it'll fit in the Prodigy M.

If you're only playing League then you don't need that powerful of a GPU. R9 270-280 will be enough.

R9 280 with 2GB? It will handle 3 big screens as well, right?

I will only game on the middle one of course.

Got a link to a card you can recommend?  :)

R9 280 has 3GB. If you're only gaming on the middle screen it's perfectly fine. It'll even be able to handle less demanding games (or demanding games with settings turned down) on all 3 screens.

Some great choices:

I've played DIRT 3 on a 280 and three 1080p monitors and high settings and it was perfectly fine. Then again it's a car game, which isn't that demanding, especially compared to AAA titles. But for just stuff like League, a 280 will be more then plenty for playing on a single monitor while the rest are just for desktop use.

Went for this one.

The CPU I got is still pretty neat, so that it wont be a bottleneck or anything compared to the GPU?

Do you got a suggestion for a PSU that will fit into that Case by the way?

I've heard that if I buy a PSU that is more than enough to run the system it wont be that noisy either.

Denied/Confirmed?

I do really aim for a silent machine with good airflow. Might get a 200mm fan in the bottom and I guess I'll add 2x120 at the top.

Inputs?

Thanks for your time by the way.

Sapphire is a good choice. Regarded by many as the best AMD card vendor. Your CPU is still plenty powerful and a good match for the R9 280. Any higher and you'll start to see a bottleneck but with the 280 you'll be perfectly fine.

Nah, get a PSU that is good quality and gets the job done rather then wasting money on one that has way more wattage then you'll ever use. For PSUs you've come to the right person lol

Definitely give this one a look. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220gs0550v1

550W will be perfect for your rig with a single R9 280. This PSU also features full modularity, as well as a hybrid fan mode, so the PSU fan doesn't spin until you actually put a decent load on your system. It's also built by Seasonic so you know it's a good quality PSU that'll last a while, and if anything does go wrong, you're backed by EVGA's great warranty service.

That's a good thing about the CPU then, saving me for 3-400$.

I've been looking a bit at Corsair CX750M, but yours is better?

550 sounds like nothing, you sure I don't need a 650 to be safe and sound?

The EVGA GS (Seasonic G) mops the floor with the Corsair CX.

550W will be perfectly fine for your system. In reality if you're not overclocking CPU, you'll never see your new rig draw more then 450W being drawn from the PSU, even under heavy load.

That's awesome.

Though, I can only get these from EVGA - What would you recommend of them?

If possible, I might extend with 1 more card after a little while, if we take that into consideration, how much would I need then?

Also, I will only extend with 1 more card if the case can handle 2xR9 280? You got any ideas about that?

For one R9 280 get this http://www.prisguide.no/produkt/seasonic-m12-ii-evo-520w-217776

If you plan to add a second one later on, then get this http://www.prisguide.no/produkt/NTheNzU4NTM3Mg

With two R9 280 it's not the case I would be worried about but CPU. You'll want to upgrade CPU and motherboard before you add a second 280 otherwise you'll run into quite a bit of bottlenecking.

Thanks!

I'll start of with the Seasonic then  :)
