Why would he go with a FX-8350 if it's a pure gaming build? A decent i5 beats the 8350 easily

Eh, but the 8350 is cheaper. I really don't want to get into this AMD VS Intel thing. I'll say it now, if you want performance, a Intel runs circles around AMD. If you want budget, AMD beats Intel to a bloody pulp.

He could get a i5-4460 in that case. A 8350 is weaker than you'd expect, even in games
