So a couple of days ago my pc got a weird problem, so now the only way to turn it on is to flick on the PSU power button and click the front I/O Button at the same time.

Thanks

That doesn't sound logical. Have you made sure your power button is connected right?

If its the only way to turn it on, then that may be a PSU issue.

so, trough the 2 years i've had one issue after the other with one of my machines, this was one of the returning issues.

never really found what was wrong with that system, but resetting cmos seemed to help (at least temporary).

The power button is connected, but i forgot to mention its the same story for the onboard power button. it has to be pressed at the same time as the PSU power button.

Try holding a screwdriver to the power button pins on the mobo, it that works, the button is broken.

got down on the floor with a screwdriver trying to short out the pins, and when i did i got an electrical noice from the PSU, turned the PSU button on and off, and boom i got a boot.
