Yesterday I got the parts for my new pc and I build it. Then I plugged all cables in and started it and after 5 seconds it rebooted and did this 3 times and I had this feeling that I would look at it tomorrow so I turned it off and tried to find some stuff what it could be and i read broken mobo/gpu/memory etc lots of stuff.

Then 10 minutes later I thought lets try again and it suddenly worked, it just worked. No reboots or whatever anymore. So I installed windows and it all worked. This afternoon I'll install the drivers and such and see if it gives me more problems.

But my question is, should I be worried about the first time it did those reboots or is it something that just happens? and why would it work after if at first it didn't work? (I never build a PC before this is my first so I got kinda worried at first).

Tried googling but only thing I could find is people whose PC didn't start after.

Thanks!

Keep using it and report back if anything bizarre happens. You may also want to do a bit of repeating to see if you run into more shorting.(shutting it off and turning it on a few times)
