Lets say for instance that I'm playing Skyrim and it freezes and I want to Alt Tab out, But when I do it I get a black Screen and am forced to restart the Computer

Why is this?

It happened today when the Witcher 2 Froze

Thanks

I know that if you tab out in Skyrim, you have to click the window and then Alt+Tab back in. I don't know about the Witcher 2, maybe the same?

Ctrl+Alt+Delete and clicking task manager sometimes works.

This is what I would do if I had just one monitor:

Start something unimportant like calculator or a browser and keep it in background.

Start the game in full screen or windowed mode and whenever u need to alt+tab u will switch to the background application (calculator or browser) and see your taskbar as well.

I used to play league of legends on one monitor and alt+tab doesn't do anything because there's nowhere to alt+tab to (desktop doesn't count as alt+tab solution).
